There's a 14-day free trial with every Pro feature unlocked and no credit card required. There isn't a permanent free tier. Running real checks means real queries against paid AI APIs, several times each — a free tier would mean either fake results or no results, and neither is worth having. The free audit is the no-account way to see a real answer first.

For the first 7 days the trial runs at Pro capacity: 3 websites, 75 prompts, 25 topics, 10 competitors and daily checks on 10 pinned questions. From day 8 it continues at Starter capacity (1 website, 25 prompts, 10 topics, 5 competitors) for the remaining 7 days. Nothing is deleted when capacity drops: extra sites and questions stay visible, they just stop being re-checked until you pick a plan that covers them. Add-ons are flat monthly amounts added to your subscription: an extra website is $15/mo, 10 more prompts are $10/mo, 25 more re-checks are $5/mo, Google AI Mode on Starter is $15/mo and an extra seat on Agency is $15/mo. They prorate for the current period like an upgrade and can be removed at any renewal. If you use more on-demand re-checks than your pool plus any packs, each extra check is $0.50 and is billed at the end of the period. There is no hard wall on a paid plan.

On the Agency plan the PDF reports carry your agency's name, logo and colour instead of AEOTrack's, and can be scheduled to go to each client weekly or monthly. The Agency plan includes an MCP server (the public API with API keys is on Pro and up), so Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP clients can list your domains, read scores and share of voice, add questions and trigger checks from a chat. Yes, at any time from the billing page. Upgrades apply immediately and you pay only the prorated difference for the rest of the current billing period — that is the only time proration applies. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you keep everything you have paid for until then. You can cancel whenever you like: your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and there are no partial or prorated refunds.
