5. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who help us operate the Platform (see Third-Party Services below). These providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the purposes for which it was shared.
- AI Processing: Website URLs and content you submit for analysis are transmitted to AI provider APIs (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity, xAI Grok, Microsoft Azure OpenAI) solely to generate insights. We do not share your account identity with these providers in connection with content analysis.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, court order, or a lawful request from a governmental or regulatory authority.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
- With Your Consent: We may share information for purposes not described in this policy with your explicit prior consent.
No personally identifiable information is shared with any third-party advertiser. AEO Track is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites linked through the Platform.

AEO Track implements industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure session management, access controls, and regular security reviews. We blend security at multiple layers of our platform using state-of-the-art technology to maintain strong protective measures. All user data is stored on password-protected servers with restricted access. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Opt-Out & Communication Preferences
If you wish to stop receiving marketing communications from us, you may opt out at any time by: (a) clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email; or (b) contacting us at privacy@aeotrack.io. Please allow up to 10 business days for opt-out requests to be processed. Note that we may retain certain information as required to comply with legal obligations or legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention. Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent us from sending essential transactional emails related to your account and subscription.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Analysis results and historical tracking data are retained to enable trend reporting and historical comparisons. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes, or where there are outstanding disputes that prevent deletion. Anonymised and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for research and analytical purposes. We do not retain sensitive financial data such as full credit card numbers; all payment data is managed by Stripe.
10. Account Confidentiality
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials. Sharing your login details with others is a violation of this policy. If you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorisation, you must report this immediately to privacy@aeotrack.io. AEO Track shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
